Add Pages to More Information Sidebox

I've seen several zenners asking how to add additional pages to the More Information Sidebox.

Add Pages to More Information is now available from the Free Software Add Ons here.

This mod adds three additional pages to the More Information Sidebox. The pages can be edited through Admin - Tools - Define Editor Pages and can also be turned off through Admin - Configuration - Define Pages Editor.

Hi - quite a useful mod...:smile:

Was it your intention to leave an advert for your site in the footer code ?
If it was - it might be an idea to warn anyone installing this - as it is easily overlooked - and something that is not usually wanted by a lot of people...

Hi - just checked again - the footer code you have in your mod - causes the page to fail validation - if it is replaced with the original code - like this:

define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY', 'Copyright © ' . date('Y') . ' <a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT) . '" target="_blank">' . STORE_NAME . '</a>. Powered by <a href="http://www.zen-cart.com" target="_blank">Zen Cart</a>');Now passes validation again....

Will update ASAP.

Hi

I have just used this mod and it did indeed add pages 5,6 and 7 to
the more information box. But when you click on the page 5,6 and 7 link it doesnt show the text from the define_page_4.php file it says

NAVBAR_TITLE
HEADING_TITLE

I have been scratching my head all day on this one

That was quick

I have sorted the navbar_title and the navbar_heading. I added
page5.php , page6.php and page7.php to zencart\includes\languages\english folder.

But it still doesnt seem to link to the text pages that you can edit through the define pages editor.

Also the pages dont show up in the Define Page Status.

Unfortunately I am setting up the site through localhost on my computer so I cant link you.

Hi -

I just installed, and while it did add the additional pages, it's also wiped out my right column and my foooter on all of the More Information pages.

Can you help me get them back?

Ok, I found the page and edited it. But here's a strange thing - before I installed this, I had edited page 2. Also, the More Information pages had a right column & a footer like all the other pages. Now, page 2 shows as a blank page on my site, but in Admin all the text is still there when I go to the Define Pages Editor???? And I have no right column & no footer.

Look, here is my More Information page 2:

NOTED ERROR in the module available in the downloads:

includes/modules/sideboxes/Custom_Folder/more_info.php

find the line that starts: if (DEFINE_PAGE_6_STATUS <= 1)

and change the next line to read: a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_PAGE_6)

(currently it reads a 5 there - my bad!)

I will submit an update to the download section shorrtly.

The only pages that can be edited and that display correctly are pages 6 & 7. I've gone over all of the files numerous times and can't find anything different in 6 & 7 from 2,3,4,5.

The only thing I can do is change the name of the page showing up in the sidebox.

So, now I only have 2 pages :cry:
