Hi,
My pages are showing up in the define page editor and on my site map, however they aren't showing in more info side box, I have checked the status and all are the same, when I click on one of the additional pages it comes up page not found?
Any suggestions?

Hello All,
Okay, I am having the same/similar problem with adding links to the Sidebar:
I have figured out how to add it for the EZPages module, which give me the two Nav Boxes on the Side Left that I want, but My problem is with adding it as "page_5, page_6", etc...under the More Information Sidebox (I changed the name to Merchant Solutions)
You can see it here:
http://impactpaysystem.com/estore/
You will notice the link "Test 5", which I have managed to figure out everything except for showing the actual content in the page!
I am sooo close, I can feel it.
Please HELP - I see the page under the "Define Pages Editor" (define_page_5.php), but the content in the page is not showing up in the actual page!
I have even managed to change the Heading Titles (inside of page_5.php) and it read that fine.
I even added it to the "define_pages_editor.php" file!
What am I missing?
Thank you for any help.

Uhhhhh, anyone?
A little help would be greatly appreciated...I'm still trying to get this working......
Thanks.

Okay, I got it...apparently, I did everything but add the SQL!!
I just copied the SQL and pasted it and VIOLA'!
It's my fault for not taking the time to slowly read ALL of this post!
I had already done all of the leg work, but I didn't know that there needed to be an SQL Insert for those pages.
Best Regards.

Okay so i've changed the file at includes/languages/english.php and saved the file to includes/languages/gloss_black but still the pages are named Page 5 and Page 6.
http://bearwearinternational.com/zc/index.php?main_page=page_5
http://bearwearinternational.com/zc/index.php?main_page=page_6
So what have I done wrong?
Please help.
Thanks

Dear Community,
I have just returned to the wonderful world of Zen and are about to cry. I installed this mod and have managed to rename links in More Information side box, created pages 5,6,7 which appear in Admin, can modify them using define pages and so on, they can be accessed directly through URL but I can not figure out how to change the links in the side box. All I get is FILENAME_PAGE_5 and so on. Where am I going wrong?
The shop is standard apart from a custom theme.
The shop is at https://www.imperialmissions.com
I'm sure it's something unbelievably simple, can't just figure i out.
Thank you in advance.

I think this is a new one...
I have installed the mod and my fifth page shows up nicely in the sidebox and in the admin define pages editor. BUT when I click on the link, I get "Page not found". I'm not sure what could be causing this - anyone?
http ://www.coolcountryhats.com.au/
It's the More Merchandise link.
Thanks!
Oba-san
Go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box do a search on:
FILENAME_PAGE_3
Notice the define for that?
Now do a search on:
FILENAME_PAGE_5
Notice the missing define for that new page? :unsure:

Actually Ajeh, it seems I spoke too soon. The page is now there, but when I add content via the Define Pages Editor or by editing the file and uploading via FTP, the content does not appear and also the page is missing the footer etc. Any more clues?
Oba-san
Next clue would be ... on the tpl_ file for this is probably an IF statement to check if the page is turned on ...
Example: for Page 3 the tpl_page_3_default.php has a line:
<?php if (DEFINE_PAGE_3_STATUS >= 1 and DEFINE_PAGE_3_STATUS <= 2) { ?>
That DEFINE_PAGE_3_STATUS is in the Configuration table ...
1 in the tpl_page_5_default.php does it use DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS in the IF ...
2 Where is your DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS defined ...

Thank you Linda, that did it!

Not for me - not quite sure what you mean. In tpl_page_5_default.php there is this line:
<?php if (DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS >= 1 and DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS <= 2) { ?>then the div for the content.
In the corresponding page 3 file:
<?php if (DEFINE_PAGE_3_STATUS >= 1 and DEFINE_PAGE_3_STATUS <= 2) { ?>but this is in the template_default folder, not my custom folder. Would that make a difference? Let's see <a minute later> ... no.
Hmm. More guidance much appreciated. Jen
Oba-san
In Zen Cart, the Page 3 uses the constant:
DEFINE_PAGE_3_STATUS
which is in the database configuration table where you can set the value for enabled or disabled by changing its value from 1 to 0 ...
If you want to use a Page 5 and it uses the constant:
DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS
somewhere, either in the database configuration table or in a php file, there needs to be something to say what its value is ...
If it is not defined, the value is 0 and 0 means OFF ...
Do a search, in the Developers Tool Kit in the bottom input box for:
DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS
select Catalog ... and click SEARCH ...
Do you see anything that looks like:
define('DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS', 0);
Or, enter that in the top input box:
DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS
and select NONE and click SEARCH ...
Does it get found?

Yes, it gets found...
/home/coolcoun/public_html/includes/modules/sideboxes/ocean_front/more_information.php
Line #26 : if (DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS <= 1) {
/home/coolcoun/public_html/includes/templates/ocean_front/templates/tpl_page_5_default.php
Line #26 : <?php if (DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS >= 1 and DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS <= 2) { ?>
/home/coolcoun/public_html/includes/templates/ocean_front/templates/tpl_site_map_default.php
Line #107 : <?php if (DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS <= '1') { ?>
/home/coolcoun/public_html/includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_page_5_default.php
Line #26 : <?php if (DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS >= 1 and DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS <= 2) { ?>

All of those are conditions for when to run Page 5 ... but none of them turn on Page 5 ...
Try this command in the Tools ... Install SQL Patches:
insert into configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function) values ('Define Page 5', 'DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS', '1', 'Enable the Defined Page 5 Link/Text?<br />0= Link ON, Define Text OFF<br />1= Link ON, Define Text ON<br />2= Link OFF, Define Text ON<br />3= Link OFF, Define Text OFF', '25', '85', now(), now(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array('0', '1', '2', '3'),');

OK, I tried that but "Error ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "DEFINE_PAGE_5_STATUS" because it already exists" :frusty:
Any other ideas? Much obliged...
