Zencart Search Box - Lost in Space?

I have noticed the search facility on a lot of zencart websites don't work. I have searched for items that are in the category list and it cant find the item or category. Is this a common problem with zencart?

Do you have any links to sites with search boxes that don't work?

I've always found the search functionality to work really well. Maybe these websites have custom code that's conflicting with some Zen Cart code and spitting out incorrect search results.

sorry none immediately come to mind. just seen in the past. maybe like you said and that the cart has been installed incorrectly. good to know then that they work. thanks
