UPS Shipping Phone Number

Hi All,

I noticed that neither the UPS shipping module nor user addresses require a shipping phone number (1.3.8a)?

UPS will not deliver if they do not have the shipping phone number!

Has anyone created an add-on for this?

Do you just need the phone number on the order or the invoice or the packing slip or ...

Or, are you trying to setup a customer phone number and ... a shipping phone number for the immediate order?

To answer your question, we would need the shipping phone number associated with the current order. However, I think this really should be a require field when creating addresses. Since customers can create multiple addresses (either for billing or shipping), it should be required for both. The phone number should be carried through to the order along with the rest of the shipping info.

I have had to add this to older osc stores and was hoping that the Zen team had added it to the core code. It's one of those keeping up with UPS shipping requirement sort of things. Just like a note stating that UPS will not ship to a PO box, which is something else I always have to add...
