Flat rate in US but flat rate + $1 for ea additional item - International?

Hello. I charge a flat rate for USA orders. I need to be able to charge International customers the same flat rate for the first item purchased PLUS $1.00 for ea additional item purchased. Is this possible without a custom mod?

You could configure the Flat Rate for US Zone and then the Item Rate for everyone else with a Zone ... then the US would only see the Flat Rate shipping module and the rest of the world would see the Item Rate shipping module ...

Thanks Ajeh. Sorry it took so long to get back. I had 130 sites go down on Sunday due to a change my host made without telling anyone, so I've been busy. Will look into this ASAP.

Flat rate for US. $7.95

Item Rate for international.
Will item rate do this? $7.95 for first item and $1.00 for every extra item after the first?
$7.95 + $1.00 +$1.00 etc...

Item Rate is handy ...

Use the Handling Fee of 6.95 and the Rate as 1.00 and you get:
$7.95
$8.95
$9.95
etc. etc. etc.

Alright, I'm stuck Ajeh. Not sure how to proceed. I understand your theory, but I don't know where to start. I do have a local install to test on. I have the Shipping Modules/Per Item setup, but how do I setup the zones for the 'per item'? In Shipping Modules/Zone Rates? Sort of at a loss here.

You need to build a Zone in the Locations / Taxes ... Zones Definitions ...

Once you have defined the Zone, you can add it to a module to filter when that module displays ...

Thanks. So I have to define a zone for EVERY country except the US for this to work?

So, I setup a zone for Australia and on the Shipping Method page I get:

Per Item $10.95
Best Way
Zone Rates No shipping available to the selected country

How do I get rid of the:

Zone Rates No shipping available to the selected country

part?

For the Zone Rate zones shipping module you can add all of the zones that you do not want to see that shipping module in the section labeled:

Skip Countries, use a comma separated list of the two character ISO country codes
Disable for the following Countries:
