Don't Accept Non-USA Orders

At present, we are not taking orders from anyone outside of the US. Is there a way within the Admin section to tell the system not to accept an order from someone with an address outside of the USA?

Create a Zone that is US All Zones ...

NOTE: All Zones means all States, DC, US Territories, Islands, Armed Services and the like ...

Add the Zone to your Shipping and Payment Modules and no one can checkout that isn't within the defined Zone ...

I'm still new at this. I looked at all the options available to me, but I don't see where to create a "zone" within the Admin section. can someone please point me in the right direction?

Go to the Locations/Taxes ... Zone Definitions ...

Insert a Zone and name it something easy for you to remember like: US Zone

Now add the details for the Country: United States and for the Zone itself, you can use All Zones for All of the United States or you can add each of the States separately ...

Unfortunetly for me, there is no option for "Taxes" in my Localization menu. My options are Currencies, Languages and Order Status.

At the top of your Admin page, it doesn't say Configuration - Catalog - Modules - Customers - Locations / Taxes - Localization, etc?

How have you been making changes in Admin?

Yes, someone else set it up. They are no longer with us. I'm doing my best to cover.

For whatever reason, they did not include/install "Location/Taxes" as a menu choice in the Admin section. It looks like all of the other options are there.

That'll be a problem.

They either installed the 'Admin Profiles' mod, or hacked the admin code manually.

That's a question I can answer: 1.3.7

I know 1.3.8 is available and plan to upgrade.

You might try to enter this directly into your browser address box:

http://www.YOUR_SITE/admin/geo_zones.php

That's the page that lets you create zones.

If that works, I'd re-upload admin/includes/languages/english.php

Since there are no overrides in admin, an upgrade to 1.3.8a should fix your problem.
