Linking Zen Cart with a EPOS instore till?

Hi all,

Is it possible to link Zen Cart with an instore EPOS till system?

I have a bricks and mortar store and run an Zen Cart website, which is why I ask.

I presume not but wanted to checked.

I don't know about EPOS but take a look at this program at https://www.atrex.com this is a POS/Inventory management program that integrates with Zen-Cart.

And also take a good luck through your agreement with the company providing the EPOS machine, because my guess is that what you want to do would violate the terms of that agreement - unless you also have an Internet Merchant ID in addition to your standard Merchant ID and agreement that the EPOS machine can be used for online transactions.

Vger often urges ZC users to be sure about this, and for good reason. It is very likely that your Merchant Agreement disallows CNP via internet, because of the security issues surrounding this form of data transmission. If you violate this clause, not only will you be blacklisted from ever having an epos facility again, but you will probably be held liable for any fraudulent activity - as well as the costs of recovery.

I don't have an EPOS system running at the moment in-store, only a very basic cash register. So I don't need to worry about the issues raised, but thanks anyway, I'll keep them in mind.

I am looking to invest in an EPOS system so that's why I am looking to find one that may integrate with Zen Cart.
