Transfer of one single category from one Zen database to another

Initially one of my stores housed multiple items in many categories, the two main categories being Beads & Jewelry. I would now like to create a new Zen cart specifically for the jewelry. Is it possible to transfer that single category and its sub-categories from one Zen cart to another, thus avoiding having to individually upload each item? FYI: Both sites are housed on one server, although each is its own separate domain.

Thanks!!

Easiest way is to use Easypopulate to dump a full file of your product database.

Then, in MS Excel (or OpenOffice equivalent) DELETE all products and categories that are not relevant to your new store.

Then use Easypopulate to port up the edited list of product data to your new store

Hmmm... That's a pretty interesting method. I have not used the mod before. Thanks - I'll look into it!
