multiple info pages for a single product

I am in the process of converting my website into a zen-cart based shop.
A couple of my products have multiple pages of documentation
and I would like to move that feature over to the new shop.
Here are some examples of the current scheme:
http://soundbytes.de/HurdyGurdy/
http://soundbytes.de/Carillon/en/index.html

I am going to put the navigation column into a sidebox that will be displayed with the appropriate content whenever a product has multiple info pages. The center column will obviously remain (with some necessary adaptions and updates)

Some of the info pages will be shared by several products. (a software bundle will show the info pages for all the products that it is composed of.)

Of course I do not want to reinvent the wheel. So if a modification exists that works along the lines that I have layed out I would be happy to know about it.

In case my Idea is new I would like to know where I can learn about programming guidelines for the zen cart framework so that my solution could be used and expanded by others without too much hassle.

Thanks!

Andreas

Re: multiple info pages for a single product

Thanks for the hint. I've looked at the mod and despite I agree it is really useful I found it does not really fit my requirements because (a) I don't want to rely on Javascript too much and more importantly (b) the mod loads all the tabs in one big chunk while I would prefer to load single pages.
