have to set my url to https on 1and1, plus a question

Hi, I have been test driving Zen and am going to go with it.
for zen to work with my ssl I have to have all the URL's in both the configure files set to the https: So if you have 1and1 with geotrust
ssl, you prob will have to do that. Any other way, and something will not work, at least for me it doesn't. everything from login to adding a product to cart.

Two questions I have are things I would like to change and cannot find. The featured/new products you see if your cart is empty, and the weight displayed when a product is in your cart. Can anyone point me to this?
I want to remove them from view.

The Featured/New in the empty cart settings are in Admin - Configuration - Stock

I think you'll have to go into the code to remove the weight from the shopping cart.

You can also remove the weight from the product info page in Admin, but neither action removes the weight from the Shopping Cart.

Thanks Melanie, I'm afraid Steve is right. I can turn it off in the listings. The reason I want to remove the weight from view (on the cart) is because I use it to set my shipping cost. I do not use the usps module or ups module. I just know generally how much it is to ship and set it myself. The problem is, a item can be very light and the customer see's 10 lbs. Really, the shipping is 10 dollars.
I have to do it like this because my site works somewhat diff than traditional.
Hard for me to find.

Then comment it out in the template files .. Make sure you override them.
