Help a novice - changing taglines

Hi All. I need to change the default taglines (eg: sales message goes here) and the faq's tell me to open the file includes/languages/... Can someone please give me an idiots guide to doing this please?

I'm assuming you have read the following FAQs:

  2. https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=36
    If your store is hosted remotely, use FTP to download the file, make your changes using a proper text editor, and then use FTP to upload your changed file to the overrides directory of your Zen Cart store.
