site background/header doesn't scale on prod details and ez

Hello,

I have almost finished my layout but now i got stuck on the product detail page and the ezpage which both seem to sort of "fall" out of the main wrapper of the site, and thus those pages are scaling over my site border.

looking is easier i guess:

http://www.engeltjesendraken.nl/winkel/index.php?main_page=page&id=1&chapter=1
&
http://www.engeltjesendraken.nl/winkel/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=91_96&products_id=1215

Please, if anyone could give me a pointer where to start wrapping the entire site around those that would be highly appreciated.

Cheers,
Jeroen

I am not seeing a problem on the products page - Your EZPage problem is caused by this image being too big - http://www.engeltjesendraken.nl/winkel/images/nieuwstraat/winkeltje_02.jpg

Hello Kim,
Thanks for looking at it.
You will see the problem at the products page as well, if you make the width of your browser window smaller you will see the same behaviour.

I would like my pictures to be as wide or even wider as the used picture right now. It just confuses me that the right side boxes do the scaling as i would expect but the background wrapper just stays fixed, creating the ugly look.

Do you know how i can make my background to scale wider, has it something to do with the 95% width setting i am using currently?

Cheers,
Jeroen

Yes, the 95% is part of the problem - Change it to 100% and put a 3% margin on the left and right in the BODY css -

You also need to add a minimum width to the main wrapper - though IE 6 will not pay attention to it.

And honestly - I would make some changes do that every page will work on a screen that is 1024 wide - not everyone on the world has widescreen monitors yet.

Ok, i have made some changes that should make things better i think. Still can't get my head around why, while on the main page, the border doesn't get "pushed in" while it does get "pushed in" when looking at the product details.
Oh well, maybe one day i'll find out why...

Actually i wasn't working on this for the people with very wide screens as they will have a nice look of the side anyway.
Au contraire, i was trying to keep the side reasonably nice on browsers with the screen resolutions set to something like 800x600 or just browser that aren't used full screen but in a smaller window size.
Or people on laptops who may have limited screen resolutions in use?

Thanks again,
Jeroen
