How to Remove "Add to Cart" Item Quantity box

Hi all,

Im trying to remove "Add to Cart" Quantity box... but it doesnt seem to tun off.

I'v been in admin and turned off a few things that I thought it might but,,, but if did not remove.

Any ideas anyone how I can get rid of this?

What's the setting in admin>product listing>Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product) and the one right below it -
Do you want to display Add Multiple Products Qty Box and Set Button Location?
0= off
1= Top
2= Bottom
3= Both

they are both set to 0???

hmmm any ideas???

(i still want the add to cart.jpg button itself.... but I dont want the form where you can put how many you want to add into the cart).

i think i may have somehow messed up the main file,,,,

tho i dunno wot that wud be.. index.php, english.php??????

There appears to be a bug of some sort in the settings unless I'm misreading something. On the Holzheimer site, I have admin>product listing>Display Product Add to Cart Button set to 1 and admin>product listing>Add Multiple Products Qty Box and Set Button Location set to 0, but there's still a quantity box. It's ok for that site, but from the way the info reads, I'd expect an add to cart button without a quantity box.

What do you think you messed up?

i might try puttin up the original english and index files and see if that fixes anything??

or do u think the problem wudnt be in there??

If you think it's causing the issue you're having with the quantity box, I doubt it's anything you edited in a file. I could be wrong, but it seems to me there's a bug somewhere.

I'm going to poke around the site and see if there's any additional info about it unless someone jumps in about it.

It's not the setting in Configuration > Product Info that says Product Quantity Box Status - Adding New Products is it?

I'm having sort of the same problem, only I want to have the quantity box turned ON....and until now to now reveil :(

In Admin > Produkt Listing the options "Display Produkt Add to Cart Button" is set to "2" and the option "Display Multiple Products Qty Box and Set Button Location" is set to "0".
Whatever I change in these options, it (= the quantity box) won't show up

My webshop is not online yet, just at localhost atm.

Does anyone have an idea ?

That appears to be your product info page.

There is a setting when you are creating your products that you use to turn off this off.

about half way down the page you will see

Products Quantity Box Shows: Yes, Show Quantity Box No, Do not show Quantity Box

check no and the quantity box is turned off

You can make this the default behavior by editing

admin -> catalog -> product types -> product general
click the edit layout button
Show Quantity in Shopping Cart (set this to 0)

So here's a question I can't find an answer to...

At different times that products were added, the quantity box settings were set differently. Some products now show the quantity box, some dont. I would like the quantity box removed from all existing products. Is there a way to do this without editing every single product?
