upsxml doesn't show in modules/shipping

Hi, probably dumb question, but I've 3x checked my work.

I uploaded the xmldocument.php into both
/admin/includes/classes/
/includes/classes/

and upsxml.php into both

/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/
/includes/modules/shipping/

and set them to 644, to match the other .php's in the directories. When I go into modules/shipping upsxml does not show as an option I can activate.

Any suggestions?

It almost sounds like you uploaded the same upsxml.php file to both places. They are not the same file, despite their being named the same. One is used to set the language definitions, and the other is full of code. Be sure you've uploaded the right ones into the right folders.

The xmldocument.php files appear to be identical.

We've been using commerce-cgi for years, but needed new features that were hard to get there. I "shopped" around, found Zen and MAN, it's features are tremendous. Plus support AND add-ons are incredible. My client are thrilled by order statusing features which we can also CC to the customer (or not), and reports, and configurability. And ease of moving products into specials. It just goes on and on. Lots to learn in this puppy, but I think it's going to- as they say on MadTV - take us to a "whole nuvva level"

Yup working, but we need to do extensive testing on it, as the wiki recommends.

One other question I have is the ETA function. Does this module go out to UPS and calc the ETA based upon UPS's shipping days?

Is it possible - I'm sure it is - better question is how to disable the ETA function if need be. We're a little shy that customers my overlook the "E" part of ETA and get snippy if expectations aren't met.

Sounds like you're into the part of setting this up where UPS will need to answer the questions. But I'm not there yet. :frusty:

Did you have to make any changes in the upsxml.php files themselves? Anything involving paths or that sort of thing? I can't get past the yellow button stage (in the list of shipping modules in ZC's admin.) I can't help but feel I've missed something really obvious -- maybe a setting elsewhere in admin that needs to be tweaked. It's very frustrating!

Anyway, if you can think of anything, let me know.

sorry for the delay in the reply. No I didn't have to change the UPS files at all. The only problem I had was inattention to detail....putting the files in their correct folders. D-oooh!:D
