changing the text color of the header links

http://www.flyboyaccessories.com/store/ is my store URL.

I'd like to change the text in the header where it says "Tailwheel Products, etc..." from gray to blue, or black. I've looked all through the forum and changed the colors of lots of other things by modifying the magic/css/stylesheet.css file but...

I've had no luck whatsoever in changing the header text color, even though I seem to recall changing it very early in this process. Doh! Maybe that change was part of something else that was modified. I can't recall and I don't have it written in my increasingly large stack of notes.

It would also be nice if the text in the left category box would change to red when you hover over it. It is always blue, unlike the other links that change to red while hovering.

I don't want any of the other links to change. They are fine as they are.

1. change the red font above to 000000

edit your override stylesheet.css again and add this following declaration to the sheet! :smile:

A.category-top:hover {color: #FF0000;}

I use Firefox web browser with the add on called Web developers kit. Which allows me to view your stylesheet and make changes and locate declarations to manulipate..

I am excited to find out about the Firefox developers kit. I downloaded it and then wet all over myself when I looked at one of my webpages.

When you play with the add on in firefox you can't mess up your site unless you ftp the changes you are seeing.
That is the beauty of this add on, you can see your changes before you save the file..
