Intergrate with Vbulletin

I have a vbulletin forum and would love to be able to intergrate zencart store to it.

What i want is for members who are logged into the forum can click a link to the zencart and be automatically logged in and ready to shop

The Zen Cart dev team uses vBulletin on this site and it is not integrated

phpbb is opensource while vBulletin is commercial

The phpBB is only a one way "bridge", you have to create an account with your Zen Cart store and that in turn creates an account with the phpBB ... Been too long since I tested, but I don't think it logs you into the forum ...

If code has been written for that, I don't recall seeing anybody willing to share it.
I suspect you'll need to hire someone to do the integration for you. When you do, please share!

I run an existing vBulletin driven website and I want to add on a full-featured shopping cart.

I've spent a few hours searching the web and the vbulletin sites for a bridge between vBulletin and any shopping cart system and I'm not happy with those that I was able to find. I need a full shopping cart like Zen Cart.

I know this question is asked fairly often, but does such an integration exist? Has anyone else been down this road?

• single sign-on.
• share basic user information, log-on session information, etc.
• ok to have different looking systems, one doesn't need to be wrapped around the other.

The only bridge I know of is for phpBB.

Isn't that ironic? I find it strange that the Zen Cart team hasn't released advanced plugins for the major social systems out there like wordpress, vbulletin, phpfox, and elgg.

vBulletin is so good with SEO it would most certainly increase the traffic to any store and i'm sure its an option vBulletin users would love to have.

Such a shame to see this going nowhere ... there is a commercial plugin for vBulletin that integrates osCommerce ... I love Zencart, but I see the only option (at the moment) is to migrate to osCommerce ... :(

... or you could hire someone to write the plugin you desire, and share it back here for everyone who's asked for it. Be a solution to the problem instead of just another one saying "me too" and throwing the problem over the fence at someone else to solve.

But, if migrating to something else is what you want to do, feel free to spend triple the amount of money on the process.
