Lost my Admin! (By changing configure.php)

HELP!

I was making changes on my 2 configure.php files (admin and includes). Somewhere in the process I have lost access to admin.

My normal address to access admin is http://stargate.terrassl.net/~admin156/admin/

When I log in there now and try to use any of the admin menus, they now take me to, for example, 'http://www.plantperfection.co.uk/~admin156/admin/template_select.php'

So they are putting in http://www.plantperfection.co.uk/ instead of http://stargate.terrassl.net/

I can't figure out why though! I had changed some instances of http://stargate.terrassl.net/ to be http://www.plantperfection.co.uk/ but have now changed them all back to try and rectify this, but it won't change the problem.

I'd really appreciate any help as I am in desperate need of access to the admin section today! I am trying to alter some parts of the welcome email (I have been 90% successful at that so far but will post a question about that in another thred)

Many, many thanks in advance,

Stuart

Re: Lost my Admin! (By changing configure.php)

Problem sorted... I'd love to tell you how, but basically it was a case of spending hours trying all kinds of changes to both config files, and for the life of me I can't figure out exactly what combination of changes made the difference!!! I'm just relieved it's working now! I still haven't got these config files set up right though, and am struggling to find anywhere on the forum that refers to this, but will no doubt be back when I get round to finalising it!!

future note:

might be an idea when making changes to any file(s) to make a backup first .. then if all goes wrong you just replace with the backups
