Deleting CC info while keeping Order History

OK. So I have a fully functional Zen Cart, and I'm processing CC orders manually. Thus I get the CC info broken-up and enter it manually at my merchant portal. Great. No problem.

A couple issues I'm stuck on in the Zen Cart admin area though:

1. How do I delete the CC information in the order details w/o deleting the entire order from the db? All I see is an option to "delete" the order. (this is not a question about deleting CVV)
2. related to the previous question, how can I archive orders to keep them in the db but once they're marked "delivered," not have them appear as new/open on the admin page?

any help or links (damned if I could find a thread for it) is greatly appreciated.

Answers attempt:

1. Can you edit your order and remove the CC info? Otherwise, it seems like you need a button 'Delete CC Info' that will do it for you - probably requires custom coding.
2. Custom coding. As far as I know there is no Archiving functionality for Zen Cart.

I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and just setup the direct authnet processing. it makes taking pre-orders a bit of a hassle, but who wants any of the CC info in their db anyway?
