How do add items to the best seller feature to appear on the main page?

is there a way to bypass that and manually enter it myself untill sales pick up. Then revert back to it being automated.

Doesn't sound very ethical, so I won't tell you that the sales figures are held in the products_ordered field in the products table, and that inserting values in there using a tool such as phpMyAdmin would achieve what your objective.

That was funny. I know it's unethical, but this temporary until the full db including orders are exported over. Thanks
