IE and zencart logo.gif issue

I'm trying to remove the logo.gif all together and I did the php edit. adding( <!--) and (-->) to the code. When I check diff browsers, IE still shows the removed image box. However Safari shows a little "?" box, and Firefox displays the page like I want it?

Any idea's what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

CP

Re: IE and zencart logo.gif issue

Please post the lines of the tpl_header.php that you edited.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Re: IE and zencart logo.gif issue

<!--<div id="logo"><?php echo '<a href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . '">' . zen_image($template->get_template_dir(HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images'). '/' . HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, HEADER_ALT_TEXT) . '</a>'; ?></div> -->

Did I do the wrong one??:unsure:

I;m trying to do this on my own, and teach myself. :frusty:

thanks

Re: IE and zencart logo.gif issue

You would be better off to change the file back the way it was.

Instead, open the CSS file you are using and at the very bottom add this line:

#logo { display:none }

Save and upload then refresh your Browser window.

The learning is in the doing.
