can someone help in advising, how or what i did wrong, that the word
TEXT_PRODUCT_MANUFACTURER. show up on my product page instead of manufacture by:
version 1.3.8a

Look at what you might have edited in
/includes/languages/english/product_info.php

It should read EXACTLY:

define('TEXT_PRODUCT_MANUFACTURER', 'Manufactured by: ');

just check the file , it is the way as you have descript.
