subcatgories in download folder in ftp

Hi I own a scrapbook store and I have designers who create scrap kits and such. what I need is to be able to make sub folders in my download directory on ftp. Is it possible to do per desginer. I tried in a test product and it says I have wrong file name which I dont. I figured its coming up wrong because I put in a sub folder with my name on it. when I did the url for the test product i put www.(my name.biz)/download/(mysubname)/file name.zip. When I did my attributes for the product I put in the name of the file like always.. Have I done something wrong. I know of other scrapping stores who have it that way and yes they do have zen cart.

Please advise..

Thanks
Robyn

You could try creating sub folders, but when entering
donwload attributes, you would have to enter correct
path that holds zip file for that particular designer/product

Re: subcatgories in download folder in ftp

where would I put that with attributes? instead of file name? Just maybe designer name/file name or no it won't see that right. I'm totally confused on what you meant. where would I put that. Please walk me thru it. Thanks

Re: subcatgories in download folder in ftp

i figured it out thank you anyways

anyone who has this problem just when doing your file name in attribues after you have entered your product regular attribute put the file name as (subcatagory=designer name )/name of product.zip or whatever file extension.. it will show up like that in there account also. for me its fine to show the manufacturer in their download link, reminds them of what designer made the product....

i.e. for a test product i have ididitcreationz/forsassy.zip and then you get your proper link...voila!
