Instant SSL or Pro - no logo or logo

Hi All
This maybe a total newbie question, but I am one, and I'm going to ask it anyway:

My host is offering Instant SSL and Instant SSL Pro - the pro version comes with the logo (and extra cover). If I buy the non-pro without the logo, does that mean I simply don't have a logo on my site to say I'm using Instant SSL? ie Does the logo do anything clever apart from say "this site uses instant SSL"? I assume it's important to show the logo isn't it?

The Instant SSL Pro SSL Certificate features the spuriously-titled "Comodo Corner of Trust" logo. If I pay for this pro version, do I get the option of installing a more sobre logo somewhere more discrete that doesn't stuff up my site's appearance

I guess they are talking about the corner of trust logo, which you get free with the SLL Pro Package from Comodo http://www.instantssl.com/ssl-certificate-products/ssl/ssl-certificate-instantssl_pro.html

I have it on my site and you can hover over it to check the details, Yes it is good to have visibility of your SSL as people are looking for that comfy feeling before ordering sometimes. Check the prices with COMODO as well as your ISP .

Not sure , i would check with COMODO , as your ISP will jsut be reselling the comodo stuff anyway. just looking at their site you get the corner logo free with the Instant SSL too . I think most SSL providers give you a logo as well anyway , its free promo for them afterall.

Genius! Well spotted. My ISP isn't providing the logo with InstantSSL, only the InstantSSL Pro. I'll have a chat with them to see if it's an oversight
