Product Attributes

Product Attributes

I find that the product attributes are more of an interactive kind of attribute. I was thinking of static attributes e.g. let's say I have a product "ABC", the product has a description "Description for ABC", the product has a list features "feature 1 , feature 2" etc, the product has multiple certification "Cert A, Cert B".

I am not very happy about dumping all this imformation in the description field of the product and that's mainly because If tomorrow I decide that the Feature heading needs to bold or one font size bigger with the features appearing in bullet list format then I do not need to change the description of each and every product, I can just modify the code and achieve it.

Is there a feature of Zen Cart I am missing ?

Regards

Re: Product Attributes

I guess what I mean is if a product has a description and a few other details along with it which needs to be displayed on the product details page is the Product Description Text Box the only place where I can add such details ?

E.g.

Product Heading ABC

Description - blah blah blah

Features -

  • Feature 1
  • Feature 2
  • Feature 3

how would I handle the feature list of the product ? Should I add them in the product description as formatted text ? it does not sound right.

Re: Product Attributes

You are posting in the Product Attributes section....
Maybe what you need is to do add them as attributes???
