Subcategories aren't showing up on a category page

Hello everyone:

I have a couple of categories on my site that use subcategories. They work fine in the sidebox, but don't appear on the category page. Here is an example:

http://www.mishutkadesign.com//index.php?main_page=index&cPath=81

I checked the layout settings, Always Open to Show Subcategories is enabled. What else can be wrong here?

I think I found a way to make it work ;-)

In Configuration --> Layout Settings:
set Categories - Always Show on Main Page to 0

In Configuration --> Product Listing:
set Show SubCategories on Main Page while navigating to 1

Then it works... Go figure ;-)
