spacing messed up in ie, good in ff -HELP-

Hi,

The site looks great in firefox. but when i load it in internet explorer the spacing is messed up. All the center content including the side nav bars are all moved higher and overlap the logo image. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to move them down in just ie or in both if it has to be that way.

Its these style sheets. they work perfect in ff but get all messed up in ie.

please help, thanks

In your stylesheet, adjust the height part of #logoWrapper to at least the size of your logo image.

Na,
On your site now I see,
#logoWrapper{
background-image: url(../images/header_bg.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat-x;
background-color: #282828;
height:75px;
}

  1. height should be 143px;

Re: spacing messed up in ie, good in ff -HELP-

that fixed it!! thanks a lot!

I realized what I did wrong. I was looking in the style sheet in the template_default folder and not the style sheet in the classic folder. Those options weren't there to edit.

Finally back to normal

Stevesh,
Keen eye,

Na what I used is firefox with the addon called web developer

  1. a free killer tool to build your site
  2. this allowed me to go see if you made the changes in your_template/ stylesheet.css
  3. glad you are on the right track
  4. nice site:smile:
