Tax Heading Won't Display

In the sub-total portion of my shopping cart, the heading "Sales Tax" does not appear, even though the tax has been calculated and the dollar amount appears in the cart. The colon is there, just not the title.

Developers Tool Kit

Look in your Zen Cart Admin and go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ...

You will find a very handy toy for doing searches of the php files and configuration tables ...

Use the bottom input box to enter any text, code, etc. that you are looking for and then select Catalog, Admin or Both ... click search ...

This will show you all files that contain the text, code, etc. that you are looking for ...

The top input box can be used to search for constants, the things in ALL_CAPS and select NONE from the dropdown and click search ...

This will check the configuration table and the product_type_layout table for configuration_keys that can be customized via the Zen Cart Admin without the need to touch any of the code

Thanks for the input, but it's not the shipping info I'm worried about.

The line under that should have a title, such as NJ Sales Tax, Sales Tax, or something like that to the left of the colon (just like the shipping does). The sales tax amount ($2.07) is correctly calculated, but there is no heading or title.

I've tried the search function and the only references for United Parcel Service were in the ups.php file.

Because I don't know what the heading should say, I don't have search parameters. I've tried "Sales Tax" and "taxes", but to no avail.

I'm wondering if it's how I configured the sales taxes, zones, etc., although I followed the instructions.

I too was having the same problem of the tax description not showing up. If you haven't figured it out or if someone else needs the answer, here it is:

1. Go to Location/Taxes dropdown menu and click on Tax Rates.
2. For each tax rate you've created, click edit. Add a description where it asks for it. This description is what will show up in the checkout.
