Don't display Tax in confirmation e-mail

Hi,

I don't want to have Tax displayed in the confirmation e-mail. The sub total has tax included, then shipping is displayed, then tax, then the total. The problem is the tax being displayed is confusing customers, thinking the tax is being added twice.

I know the e-mail is created in the 'includes' > 'classes' > 'order.php' file.

 $email_order .= strip_tags($order_totals[$i]['title']) . ' ' . strip_tags($order_totals[$i]['text']) . "\n";

I don't know where the array is being created from or what position the tax values are at... I just want to stop the tax from being displayed in the confirmation email. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Paddy

Re: Don't display Tax in confirmation e-mail

To clarify the meaning of the tax line, move it to the bottom of the list, and change its wording, like this:

  1. Change the sort-order of the ot_tax order-total module to a value higher than the sort order for ot_total.
  2. Edit the ot_tax.php language file and change its wording to say "Tax included in prices: " instead of just "Tax:".
