Table Rate Issues when based on Price (getting 0.00)

What happens if you remove the Zone from your Table Module, does it work?

What happens if you save all settings from your shipping module to NotePad ... REMOVE ... INSTALL ... and reconfigured it ... does it work?

when removing the zone 'united kingdom' under table rates, the module turns green, but the checkout still displays 0

the two modules you are talkng about, i have tried un-installing them both without success, then installing them but setting alow free shipping to false. This also fails.
this is a tough one lol

Have you an URL to the product where this is happening that we could perhaps peek at to test a few things?

Also, could you temporarily do an INSTALL on the Item Rate item shipping module and set the Item Rate to 10.00 ...

NOTE: make sure that the Order Totals module for Shipping ot_shipping is INSTALLED and that you have just disabled the Free Shipping feature of that ...

okay, i have set the item rate to 10.00 which has taken over the table rate and displayed 11.50 as the postage rate now with vat added.
Would it help if i provided you with my login details via PM so you can have a quick look at all my current settings?

Your template looks messed up for a lot of things on the address information and things are not functioning as they should ...

You can try adding to your stylesheet the following classes:

.hiddenField {
display: none;
}
.visibleField {
display: inline;
}

But I am not sure that your addresses are completing right or the data being stored right to function ...

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template to test things?

Also, your Table Rate settings you posted are not showing me much more than the choices ... knowing the settings that you are using on everything would be more helpful ...

Hello, what do you mean by things seem messed up? i know that sometimes all the format goes on my site and im not sure why, maybe that happend to you.
Did the site look like the screenshot ive attached?
What do you mean by the settings, where would i find these settings?

Things just are not working right on your site ...

Creating an account, editing an account, moving through the directories etc.

I'd first make sure things work with Classic Template and then add those classes to your custom template's stylesheet and test everything from add to cart to create account to checkout to editing account etc.

okay ive switched back to the classic template im not sure what im looking for. What should be different? Ive only ever know the template provided by templatemonster.
There isnt a google checkout button anymore, but the shipping estimator seems to display better.
The logging in process seemed relatively the same

Some things are better but there are still problems ...

Is this a clean install or an upgrade?

If I edit my account I loose the state and have to reselect it ...

It will save the value but the next time I edit it, then it is gone again ...

oh that is strange, when i installed the new template, i had to install a sql patch which changed some of the config settings to make the template format correct.
Is there any way of repairing the zen cart install?
It has taken me a very long time to get to this stage wher the cosmetic side is correct and tight knit, i dont want to have to start again if possible.
Just trying to think of a way to repair it, do you think its sql related or php related?

ARRGGHH ive just switched back to my normal template and all the spacing is messed up!!
how is that possible? I think its reset all the config setting im going to try and upload the template sql again.

okay i think i might have to start a fesh install, do you think this would be a good idea? the template sql didnt fix the problem.
Im going to have to back up some sql catagories and stuff first.
what do you think? will a clean install help get rid of all these little problems. I wont install too much this time i think whats happened is, something ive installed has either overwriten something or messed it up in someway.

Maybe clone your database and site into another database and directory ...

Then start clean and work from there ...

You can always start over if need be or anywhere in between that might get you back on track ...

Okay its been a while but im starting to re-make my site again. Can you please give it a check out to make sure things arnt as messed up as before. Im going to switch back top the default template and im installing google checkout before anything else.

erm ive switched back to my backups now ajeh, im having real problems here, re-doing the entire site is more work than i thought.
basically im back to square one. Do you know which files include the functions to store this table rate information, so i can see what has happened to it, and compare it with the classic template?

From what I can see you need to add to your stylesheet for your template:

If I add a product to the cart, I appear to get table rate shipping ...

okay, i have added that piece of code to my CSS which seems to have tidied things up a bit, but im still getting the zero pound table rate issue.
You said you appear to get table rate shipping, it calculates the table rate shipping perfectly in the estimator and zen cart itself, its when you go into google checkout and log in that you get this issue. I have changed the address of my log on to see if it makes any difference, but no changes.
