Re: Customer Nickname

It probably shouldn't check for duplicates. It's conceivable that a customer may choose to have more than one account with a store (one personal and another business for example) but want to participlate in the associated phpBB forum with a single login.

Re: Customer Nickname

I guess that you would build an extra check into modules/create_account.php

Re: Customer Nickname

I've never actually used the facility so I'm not sure if this is needed, but you may need to put an additional check into the modules/pages/account_edit/header_php.php file to stop users for editing their nickname to match an existing one after they have created an account.

I was just looking how to prevent users from changing not only nick name, but address info as well ( this will be restricted to users of certain address).
Can it be done from Admin? If not, how can I change

<?php echo **zen_draw_input_field**('nick', $account->fields['customers_nick'], 'id="nickname"') . (zen_not_null(ENTRY_NICK_TEXT) ? '<span class="alert">' . ENTRY_NICK_TEXT . '</span>': ''); ?>

to be only "display field"?
