Featured Items on Main Page and category pages

I have been fussing and fussing with all of my config settings for Featured Items.. and I cannot get tehm to show up at all!

The box is there, but nothing is showing.

Here is my website to see:

I have 2 of my products set up as featured items but they do not show up.

What am I doing wrong?

Under admin>catalog>featured products, what are the start (available) and end (expires) dates for the products? Is the icon under status red or green?

THey started 9/24/2008 and end 12/31/2010 and are under green staus

That was set and I put it to be 1 and it still just shows the box with NOTHNG in it. I tried to use other boxes as well and they also come up empty

What happens when you switch templates via admin
from barebones to Classic...do boxes still not show
your products?

KRW, Misty has a good point. Change the template back to classic green and see if the featured products show up on the main page. It may help diagnose the problem. It's easy enough to switch back and forth.

Knitting and crochet patterns... I'm definitely going to have to look around when you're done. :smile:

Hi Again Everyone!

I just switched to classic green and the featured products are still blank!

I am going to switch it back.. soley because it is a live site. I dont want to mess any of my customers up!
