when I switch templates products don't display - Acadame

I installed a new template but whenever I switch to it my products wont display. The only thing I see is the new products for the month but if I click on those products I just get a blank screen. what am I doing wrong?

As you didn't mention the site in question can I presume it is http://hiquatec.com/ ?

If yes then I don't see the problem as everything works / displays as it should.

If you click on an image or on the name of an item my cart takes you to a blank page can someone take a look and give me some advice? http://hiquatec.com

You can widen your sideboxes through the Admin Layout Settings page, but you already have them at 200px when the column that they are in is set to just 150px.

I can't see a red line and the site looks full width, so I assume that you have been solving these problems yourself.

yea i've been read some tutorials but the red bar is right underneath languages and the shopping cart at the very top of the page

Ah I see it. It's a problem in IE but not Firefox.

It's there because you have an empty DIV tag in your header with the ID "topLinks" to which IE is giving a height, thus showing its background color.

You could turn off the background color in CSS, or go into (probably) your template's common/tpl_header.php file and remove the code that generates it.

ok thank you very much. the problem with the description not displaying was hoverbox3 so I disabled is
