Table Rate/Free Shipping + Additional Optional Fee?

I must not be explaining the need very well. I apologize.

The module should be disabled only if there is one or more products ONLY from master category 4. If there is a mix of products from various categories, INCLUDING master category 4, then it should still be available.

But it still doesn't test correctly here. Could I send you the file and/or have you take a quick look at it online? I would gladly reimburse you for your time.

You are saying if the Order contains ONLY products that are master_categories_id 4 then it should not show ...

But, if it contains Products from other categories ... or products from other categories plus product from master_categories_id 4 it should show ...

That's very different ... :blink:

You could compare the number of items in the cart with the number of products that are set to master_categories_id 4 and if they equal ... then don't show the shipping module ... But, if they are different, then show the shipping module as you have a mixed order ...

You need to alter the test for how many items are in the cart and check how many are master_categories_id 4 ...

When they are equal, meaning all are from master_categories_id 4, then this will not show this module:

Okay. I have figured out the problem. All my products in category ID 4 are in subcategories. master_categories_id returns the number of items in a SUBCATEGORY. Is there a way to check for the top/main category ID? Thanks.

Not in a simple, easy manner like this ...

I'd have to really sit down and work some things out for that type of code ...

Do you have any time? How much hours/$ to do this?

Alternately, I guess I could check for each subcategory in category 4. (I just hate the idea of using something "static" because someone may need to add another subcategory in the future -- and the module would have to edited each time.)

What would be the easiest/best way to check for each subcategory? Just repeat the IF/THEN for each ID?
