How would I change Product URL in Product Type Info Page to a different name

I want to change "Product URL" in Product Type Info Page to a different name such as "Condition:". I am using 1.3.8

How and where would I change that so that when I upload my products with the field "Condition:" or any thing I want to call it, it will show up in the product layout.

It doesn't have to be Product URL that I change, it could be any of the fields. Weight, Date Added, or whatever.

Are you saying that you want a field in the product display that is labelled "Condition"?

... so that, for example, you could have:

Condition: New / Used / Second Hand ...?

Problem with the fields for URL, Weight, Date Added... is that they are formatted for the purpose they describe, and influence other behaviours.

Have you thought about adding a new, custom field?

I tried finding an easy method of adding a custom field, but I don't think such an animal exists. Everything I've seen so far looks like lots of coding changes.
