Special Prices for Special Customers???

Hello,

I'm new to the zen cart, but so far is awesome. I haven't been able to find out if there is a way I can setup special discounted pricing for certain customers only. I would like to have a discount available to customers who are wholesalers.

Is there a way to differentiate customers and product prices for those special customers? Some kind of separate log in at a different area of the site or just based off log in name?

There is a Group Pricing feature in Zencart that allows you to allocate customers to GROUPS. You then configure each GROUP to enjoy a site-wide discount level - so if you have wholesalers as customers, and your discount is 30%, you can configure a GROUP that gives this 30%, and then put your wholesale customers into that group.

It has limitations:

1. The 30% applies to all products
2. The retail prices are still shown, and the 30% discount is applied only at checkout.

There are some free addon modules that do things differently, such as DUAL PRICING module.
