Why are my Product/category Meta Tags being overridden by site-wide tags?

Hi.

I have entered per-page meta tags for the categories and products (including title, keywords and description) but only the site-wide tags show up on every single page.

How do I get the site-wide tags to just appear on the main home page, and then the page-by-page individual tags to appear on each of the product and category pages?

Using Zen Cart 1.3.7

Hi,
the keywords should be added to your own keywords, not override them. I am using 1.3.8.
Did you save the changes to YOUR_TEMPLATE?

Your should have a file like;

include\languages\your_template\meta_tags.php

what happens if you remove the custom keywords?
