BULK UPLOAD Featured Products and Cross Sell / Associated Codes?

Hi Zenners,

1. I have many thousands of products in my site, I have a shortlist of products in various categories I want to make FEATURED?
How can I make all these hundreds of products featured?

The only way I can see is to go to Catalog > Featured Products > then insert them one my one by scrolling through the list, I can't even select two or more items using Ctrl

Please help as we have tens of thousands of items and to select and click for featured items in each category like this is unworkable.

Something like uploading a spreadsheet list with easypopulate, but easypopulate does not seem to have any column such as featured where I could put a 1 or 0

2. Other issue can someone recommend the best CROSS SELL module where again, I have tens of thousands of products so I can simply upload a bulk spreadsheet of the associated codes for each product. Clicking and selecting is unworkable as there are 70,000 associations
I would also need unlimited associated items to cross sell per product, not limited to 5

cheers

anyone?
