Table Rate: Replace "0.00" With "FREE"?

On the checkout shipping page -- I'm trying to replace "$0.00" with "FREE" for the table based shipping module. (Shipping is free over $100.) And I can't use the free shipping order total function for other reasons. How can I do this? Thanks for your help!

How can we assist you if you've re-structured the way zc works.. and won't tell us what you did?

Generally, hacking code to give a module the appearance of doing something other than its designed purpose results in an array of problems down the line.

If you let us know what you are trying to achieve with shipping, then we can suggest options.

... for example, it's relatively easy to clone some shipping modules to DUPLICATE their behaviour with different settings and variables.

I had to duplicate the table based shipping module to make an expedited option. That's why I can't use the free shipping order total option.

I'm just looking to replace the display of "$0.00" with "FREE" when displayed on the page. That's all. Any ideas on how to do this?

Note: the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping the Free Shipping for amounts over XX.XX will override all shipping modules ...

If you want a Free Shipping Option to run at the same time as all other shipping modules when the Total is >= XX.XX you can install the Modules ... Shipping ... Free Shipping Options freeoptions which lets you set either a Total, Weight or Item Count for when the Free Shipping Option freeoptions runs ...
