Allow other users to sell their products?

Hi there, I am looking for an application that will let me allow site members to add their own products for sale on my site. Will Zen cart allow me to do that?

Probably not. Zencart doesn't work as a 'mall' kind of application.

You CAN do this on ZC....to a point....there are a number of steps involved though

Use Admin Profiles in the Free downloads area so that each member/manufacturer can be given access to specific areas of the admin, if products are downloadable, create separate folders inside the download folder and assign individual ftp access to each

If you want each member to have the ability to put their entire product list on sale, you will need to create a category specifically for them and have the products entered there first and then copied to other relevant categories

Only thing you cannot do is have the payments going to each member individually, you will have to set up some sort of payment/invoice system on your pc and pay each separately yourself

It really all depends on exactly how you want to set up individual sellers on your site :)
