drop down list and check box

i have some products that have a drop down list and a check box. the customer can drop the list down and choose their item. and then they have the option of checking the check box as an added option.

example:
from the drop down list a customer chooses an item that costs $10.00 and they check the check box option that costs $1.50 and adds to cart.

my cart shows the $10.00 item, and it shows a "-" where the optional items should be, but it isn't adding the optional item or the $1.50 to the total...

any ideas on what the problem may be???

Thanks for posting the update to the problem with the checkboxes not showing when adding the Product to the cart and that applying the current security patch fixed this for you ... :smile:
