Paypal express checkout not working, regular works fine ? :(

Hi,
I have a strange problem.. If users click the paypal express checkout button on the shopping cart page, they are directed to paypal, where users login. they see the review info page, click continue. Users are directed back to the site, and complete the checkout process. It looks like all is ok, but money is actually never charged through paypal.

If users go to 'checkout' and do the checkout process, it works fine with paypal.

on the orders page, the 'payment shipping' column says 'flat cc' for the orders that dont work (if they click the paypal express button) and 'paypalwpp flat' if they do regular checkout which works.

Only paypal express payment module is installed and i'm going crazy trying to solve this, hoping someone can help.

1. What version of Zen Cart are you using?
2. In Admin->Modules->Payment, if you click on "Offline Credit Card" module, do you see a "Remove" button? If so, you need to click that and remove it so that it can't take payments.

Thanks! Let me try that real quick. Module was installed, just removed it.

That worked!! I had to deinstall the free zencart module and another one, but once they were gone it works! Thanks :)

If you intend to allow some customers to check out with an entirely free cart, perhaps with discounts etc, you'll need to re-enable the FreeCharger module at that time.

That wont mess with the paypal checkout? i suppose i could try

I've never seen freecharger mess with paypal. But the Offline CC module has been reported to conflict under some circumstances.
