Hide site tagline on every page

Is there any way to stop the tagline appearing on every page which does not have its meta tags defined?

IE, when you look at a category page which does not have meta info defined, the title bar displays:

CATEGORY NAME : TITLE, TAGLINE by default, i'd like to change this to:

CATEGORY NAME : TITLE

I want to display a Category name or Product name in the place that Home Page Title display everytime a customer clicks on a Category or Product. Please give me your thoughts and advices. Thanks for your help.

If you want to hide them, just go to public_html/includes/templates/common, and open up html_header.php. Just input a title and save.

I just know it one way. Please wait for others' ideas.

I look for a way to display Meta Tag title everytime a customer click on a category or product. Although I have Meta Tag Title for every category and product, bu I don't know why they do not display.
