Offering 2 shipping options - one free

Hello!

I'm a little bit confused.

At the moment I offer 'free shipping' on everything. Obviously it's not free, merely included in the price

However - what I want to do is to offer 'free shipping' as standard, but if a customer wants to pay extra and have express shipping, they can pay for that

But - I'm a bit lost as to the best way to do this and having stared at my Zen Manual for a while, I figured it was time to ask

Install the Free Shipping Options freeoptions and set the Total to >= 0 ...

Now you can run that with your other shipping modules ...

99% of the items i sell have shipping cost. and iam adding some free shipped item also but free shipping shows up on all item and buys are trying to get free shipping on all sale. How do i fix this thanks inf

How are you setting up Products for Free Shipping?

What shipping module(s) specifically do you have installed?

Have you an URL to your site and an example of products_id for Products where Free Shipping shows on your site when it shouldn't?

when adding the product that is free shipping i check the Always Free Shipping:

I need to know which of those shipping modules you have actually installed ...

I need to know the products_id number as your session knows what product you added to the shopping cart but that link will take me to an empty shopping cart ... :eek:

Free Shipping freeshipper is the shipping module to use for when you only want to see Free Shipping based on:
0 weight means Free Shipping
Product is markes: Always Free Shipping YES

Free Shipping Options freeoptions is the shipping module to use when:
You want to offer Free Shipping at the same time as other shipping modules, and allows control over ranges for Total, Weight and Item Count ...

If you install UPS and Free Shipping Options freeoptions, there will ALWAYS be a Free Shipping Option if it meets your configuration settings on this shipping Module ...

If you install UPS and Free Shipping freeshipper, the you will see only see the UPS shipping module, unless the order is 0 weight or the products are marked as Always Free Shipping YES ...

Okay let's step back a moment ...

When UPS is showing, do you want Free Shipping Options freeoptions to be showing at the same time? <insert answer here>

If you test when logged in or as a guest and enter an address, you will see the UPS and Free Shipping Options freeoptions showing at the same time ...

Free Shipping Options freeoptions shipping module always shows, when one of the configured criteria is met, at the same time as the other shipping modules ...

Free Shipping freeshipper will never show at the same time as other shipping modules as it only shows when the weight is 0 and 0 weight means free shipping or when products are marked as Always Free Shipping ...
