How to post Items, but not for sale?

Greetings.... I'm wanting our website, https://www.thereservebadgeguy.com to have 2 sections....

One section which is all of the badges that are for sale, then another section which you can't see now is the "Our Collection" which we are simply wanting to display, but not actually sell on the site.

Here is the dilemma: We are wanting an item removed from the site once it is sold. We only have 1 of each of these badges. So I went in last night and ran the SQL patch that will do that, but it removed the category of My Collection.....

Any suggestions of how to have both????

Make products in category for browsing only, as Contact Us..

Thanks so much for replying and the suggestion. However, I am not sure how to set the category up for browsing only. This sounds like it is exactly what we are wanting to do.

Could you post steps of how to do that?

You dont..you set each product in that category to Contact Us..

Update....set products as call for price...
