How to show more Category levels in site_map.php?

Hi all,

I want to show more Category levels in site_map.php, so I change $max_level in the /includes/classes/site_map.php like the following:
$max_level = 3 or 4 or 5

But, unfortunately, it seems that this doesn't take any effect.

Shall I change any other codes? please kindly advise, thank you.
