1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax

Hi,
A worker blew it and reset the admin log without backing up the database and now i'm getting this error on checkout:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Meally(qty: 1) + _Family Affair Beanie(qty: 1) [Date] => December 16, 2008,' at line 1

any idea how to fix this problem?

Try doing a database repair via phpmyadmin

Sounds like you have an addon that's not able to handle quotation marks in the data it's trying to store to the database.
