EZPage as HomePage

Hi, wondering how i can have a standard EzPage as the landing page / home page for my zen cart -

i.e user types in https://www.fitzmusic.com.au and it displays an ezpage as the default landing page.

i did download a script from the modules section of this site, but it did not work and has left my homepage with a 404 - even after uninstalling it..

any help would be awesome!!

What is the intent??

What can you not place into the defines_main_page that by default loads on the home page?

Hi Kobra - i have edited this, but as mentioned, i installed the : override_default_content_of_main_page_url_0-1.zip
module and it has stuffed up my landing page : https://www.fitzmusic.com.au

any ideas??

You'll have to figure out everything that mod changed and change it back, or restore a backup of your site from before the mod.
Making an ez-page show for your home page won't fix whatever is wrong.

Check your server's error log for possible hints at what may be wrong...

the error logs show nothing really - anything i should be looking for as a tip?

Also below is the sql query i ran for the above mentioned mod!

I can control my home page via admin>Tools>Define Pages Editor

My template has a file labeled define_main_page.php

By editing this I can manually add code to the home page.

I am wanting to change the default landing page from:
http://www.perrymultimediaandcompany.com/index.php?main_page=
to:
http://www.perrymultimediaandcompany.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=3&chapter=1
but still have the original landing page the way it is. If you look at the "Welcome!" page (it's an EZ Page) you will see that it is pretty long with out having the "A Few Samples of our Product Line" (New products box, just renamed) section below that. I do not want to have these two pages be the same one, but still have both of them be accessable.

eg. Customer types into their browser bar: https://www.perrymultimediaandcompany.com
it comes up with the "Welcome!" EZ Page (http://www.perrymultimediaandcompany.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=3&chapter=1).
After that, if they click on the "S~Scents Home" link in the header, it goes to the original landing page:
https://www.perrymultimediaandcompany.com/index.php?main_page=
Any ideas?:mellow: This is one of the last things I need to finish integrating my old main website into the shopping cart with the EZ Pages, and the "Welcome!" Page was my landing page then, only it was an html file called home.
