will downloadable products work with paypal express

I am new to Zencart and want to use it but need to know if downloadable products will work with Paypal express

i.e. will they receive the access to the download link AFTER paying with paypal express

I know some carts require seamless gateways like paypal pro for downloads to work properly

Please let me know

In a standard configuration, if the customer completes payment with PayPal Express Checkout, then they will be given access to their downloads immediately.
