How do I turn "off" price display in maintenance

Hey everyone,

I want to adjust some pricing and turn OFF the price display on my products while doing so. In ""Admin>Configuration>Website Maintenance"", I have the "Down for Maintenance: Hide Prices" set to "True" but the prices are still displaying. I am sure this is something really simple . . . Any one have a suggestion how to resolve this?

on my test site.. if i set the hide price to true and enable site maintenance .. i will not be able to see price nor i can navigate to any category . etc..

can you give us the link to your site to see what is going on ??

Did you actually take the site down for maintenance?

I have the site down for maintenance with the notice "on"
"NOTICE: The website is curently down for maintenance to the public"

Yet I can go to a product listing and still see the price:huh:

I have entereed a price on only one object to see if it would come up under maintenance and it does. I would like to prevent pricing from being visible until all of the items are priced.

im looking at your site. and everything seems to be ok , i don't see any prices , nor i can navigate to any products ..

you might be looking at your site with IP that is registered for admin .. as such you will be able to look at your site even though site is down for maintenance.
