Add Customers from admin addon

Thank you very much Ahmad!! I had read then entire thing, but I guess by the time I got that far I was a little blurry eyed :(

I am still trying to figure out two things.....

1. How to add an additional field to it
2. Would like the states to be drop down like they are when a customer registers themselves.

I get this when uploading a *.CSV
Can't find out whats wrong either :(

Here is the problem I discovered with this whole problem of the States Dropdown and the Entry_zone_id being set to 0. If that customer is in a taxable zone it will not charge them tax. I found this out today, went into the database, changed the entry_zone_id to the correct number and the customer is now being charged tax.

Can anyone suggest how to fix this. I read all the posts and did not come up with a solution.

I'm having a problem... when entering customers company name and street address, everything appears fine... I get a successfully added message. But when I check the customer entry, the Street address is in the company field, it seems to overwrite the company name completely.

I can manually enter in the company name, and the street address to fix it... but it's a big pain.

Any idea why this might be happening and how to fix?

Does this mod work with COWOA module? I noticed the admin/includes/customers.php file did not include COWOA when I compared files in winmerge.

I lost several orders when I had to reload old backup. I was able to add customer information. Can I add PO information without re-charging customer?

This looks such a useful add-on. I've downloaded and uploaded all the files and tried a test bulk file. I've followed all the instructions and when i try and upload the file I get asked for my zencart username and password and then goes back to the main admin page and nothing has happened!!

Then if I go back to trying to add a new customer it asks for my username/password and then keeps me on the admin homepage and I have to log out and start again!

Can anyone help as I have hundreds of customers to upload.

That worked GREAT! All I did is upload the add_customers.php-1.0 file and changed the name to add_customers.php in my Admin/ folder. Works like a charm.

Ok I've triple checked my files and the admin welcome emails can not be sent. Nothing happens. I'm really desperate for this mod.. Can I somehow add password field to the admin??? PLEASE!?

Have you looked at #129 and 130 on page 13 of this thread? These code changes worked for me.

but still having error with the date.. zen cart doesnt accept the date in yyyy/mm/dd or yyyymmdd or yyyy-mm-dd . changes it to a weird date..
also the addon does accept it as mmddyyyy

I'm getting No counties / zones specified for that country error all the time.. What have I've done wrong now?

I got rid off it by removing the state field.. Problem is that sometimes I'd need the state.. However not with all clients.. Can I somehow make it a optional field?

Have just added version 1.06 and have fixed the problems identified with the various fixes on this thread but I have another problem I cannot see a fix for.

I cannot view any customer data for customers that have been added. I am getting this error message when I try to view the customer details in admin.

1054 unknown Column 'customer_info_source_id' in 'field list' in:
[select customers_info_source_id from customers_info where customers_info_id = '10']

Added customers can log in, I just cannot view their customer details.

Can anybody advise on a fix for this ?

I just downloaded and added this mod (v1.06) and ran into the same issue and another. I found there were two fixes to issues posted earlier in this thread. These fixes never got rolled into a newer version.

No Welcome Email is being sent to customer when you place a check-mark in the check box

I haven't seen a response to this problem, I am experiencing the same problem. Please can someone help, perhaps I am missing the post providing a solution. I am in SA and have tried everything including using the id number as well as the ISO codes in the CSV file, nothing works. I have even tried deleting all other countries from the countries table (I only need SA as we do not allow other countries)
